You can help protect the unspoiled wilderness of the New Jersey Pinelands well into the future by including a bequest to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance in your will.
Your last will and testament is your one final statement of life. It lets you be yourself. It assures that what you have worked for all your life goes to the people and the causes you support.
If you love the outdoors, if you cherish the joys of nature and want to save New Jerseys unique wilderness for others, a bequest to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance is one of the most effective ways to carry out your wishes.
Your bequest can be a simple statement:
You may prefer to make your charitable bequest after you have provided for family and friends. In that case, instead if designating a dollar amount or percentage in your bequest to PPA, you can make a gift of the residuary estate, as follows:
Your "residuary estate" could also be divided between PPA and any other individual or organization, if you wish, by listing a percentage amount for each beneficiary.
Your attorney is the best person to decide the form and wording of your bequest. You or your attorney may want to contact the staff of the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, who welcomes the opportunity to discuss your wishes and plans with you.
Please contact Traci Connaughton, PPA's Director of Development to discuss your options.
