Starting at 7:00 PM from the General Store, the walk is 3 to 5 miles in length and led by experienced guides. Depending on your guide, participants will learn all about the history of the Village, cranberry and blueberry farming, Pine Barrens flora and fauna and enjoy some stargazing, while listening to the night sounds of the pines. Reservations requested.

Village Tours: Guided tours of the Village and Whitesbog’s Museums are scheduled on the 1st Saturday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Learn all about cranberry and blueberry farming in the 1920s, the research conducted at the 1st Rutger’s Cranberry Sub-station and see how the laborers lived in the Worker’s Cottage. The Agricultural Museum focuses on the farm tools and machinery, farm vehicles and other equipment used in the cranberry and blueberry industries. Visit Suningive, Elizabeth’s historic home, garden & blueberry test fields. The General Store is a fine example of an old time Company Store. Reservations requested.

Tours of the historic 1753 farmhouse and circa 1930s dairy barn.
Light refreshments will be served.

There is a guided tour of the 1840 Greek revival Mansion decorated for the season (small fee). Option for late lunch at Vincentown Diner. This annual commemoration features Crown and Continental forces in camp, drilling, and eventually battling through town, from the Prison Museum on High Street to Monroe Street Park. The Pinelands Commission usually meets on the second Friday of each month. These meetings are open to the public and are most frequently conducted at the Richard J. Sullivan Center for Environmental Policy and Education, 15C Springfield Road, New Lisbon, New Jersey. The Commission does sometimes meet at other locations in the Pinelands during the year, so please confirm the meeting place by calling the Commission's offices.
Committees of the Commission meet between the regularly scheduled monthly meetings. The committees include Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP) Policy and Implementation, Permanent Land Protection, Personnel and Budget, Public and Governmental Programs, and Science.

Easy pace whether we bike or hike! Belleplain was established in 1928 by the State of NJ for recreation and water conservation. Lake Nummy is a converted cranberry bog.
