The Pinelands Heritage Series explores the history and culture of the New Jersey pinelands

Location: Pinelands Preservation Alliance, 17 Pemberton Road, Southampton Township
Description: Discover the prehistoric history of the Pinelands before the formation of Native American tribes (pre-Lenape). The presentation will cover the period from 10,000 BC to 1000 AD and include a discussion on the changing Pinelands landscape during the archaic and early woodland periods and close-up examination of artifacts from each time period. Speakers: Archaeologist Jack Cresson and Cherokee High School (Evesham) Earth Science teacher Robert Clark.
