Our Pinelands Adventures are designed to introduce you to the pleasures of the New Jersey Pinelands with our expert leaders
Date: Sunday, July 21, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Leader: Amy Karpati, PPA
Location: Batsto River
Description: A day-long naturalist tour of the beautiful and historic Batsto River. Foliage and wildlife make this an exhilarating and memorable experience. Explore a characteristic Pine Barrens wetland savannah along the river - home to several rare plant species. We'll stop for a brown bag lunch along the way. Bring plenty of water and be sure that any cell phones, cameras, and other important items are secured in waterproof containers (plastic bags and tupperware will not work!).
Canoeing can be a strenuous activity. Some canoe experience is necessary to comfortably participate in this program.
Cost: $15; canoe rental approx. $45 extra (payable directly to Adams Canoe Rental, cash or check only)
Registration: Register online or call 609 859-8860 x14 or email tomdunn@pinelandsalliance.org
Registration fees are not refundable.
