6th Annual Tour de Pines Bicycle Tour

The 2010 Tour de Pines, sponsored by Pinelands Preservation Alliance, celebrates Pinelands Month in October with five consecutive single day bicycle tours of the New Jersey Pinelands.

The goal is twofold: to highlight the natural and historic features of the one million acres of the Pinelands, and to encourage New Jersey residents to get out and explore this unique environment.

Bicycle enthusiasts and Pinelands enthusiasts are invited to participate!

The 2010 Tour de Pines will begin on Wednesday, October 6 at PPA's Bishop Farmstead in Southampton Township, traverse the length and breadth of the Pinelands National Reserve, and culminate at the Pinelands Discovery Festival at Whitesbog Village on Sunday, October 10.

Each day’s loop tour will range from approx. 40-55 miles per day, with average speeds of 11-13 mph.

The Tour de Pines is a voluntary, non-competitive, unsupported ride.
Participants are required to provide their own transportation, food and lodging
(recommendations will be provided with cue sheets).

Participants may elect to ride one, two or all days of the Tour.
