The 2012 Tour de Pines, sponsored by Pinelands Preservation Alliance, celebrates Pinelands Month in October with five consecutive single day bicycle tours of the New Jersey Pinelands.

Bicycle enthusiasts and Pinelands enthusiasts are invited to participate! See online registration form below.
The 2012 Tour de Pines will begin on Wednesday, October 10 at PPA's Bishop Farmstead in Southampton Township, traverse the length and breadth of the Pinelands National Reserve, and culminate at Whitesbog Village on Sunday, October 14.
Each day’s tour will range from approx. 40-55 miles per day, with average speeds of 11-13 mph, and begin and end at the same location.

The Tour de Pines is a voluntary, non-competitive, unsupported ride.
Participants are required to provide their own transportation, food and lodging
(recommendations will be provided with cue sheets).
Participants may elect to ride one, two or all days of the Tour.

Schedule: (all rides start at 9:00 AM)
Wed., Oct. 10: Cranberry Cruiser Loop (Medford, Kirby’s Mill, Brendan Byrne State Forest) 45 miles
Thurs., Oct. 11: Heart of the Pines (Historic Chatsworth, Lake Oswego, Brenden Byrne State Forest, Wharton State Forest, Franklin Parker Preserve, Penn State Forest and Greenwood State Forest ) 49 miles
Fri., Oct. 12: The Bridge to Nowhere (Belleplain State Forest, Port Norris, Maurice River Park) 56 miles
Sat., Oct. 13: A Chair on Every Roof (Batsto Village, Wharton State Forest, Bass River State Forest, Stafford Forge Wildlife Management Area, The House with the Chair on the Roof) 49 miles
Sun., Oct. 14: Pinelands Discovery Loop (Historic Whitesbog Village, Brendan Byrne State Forest, Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area) 41 miles
