Tours will include cranberry bog tours, historic tours of Whitesbog Village (including Sunningive, the home of Elizabeth White, who first cultivated the blueberry), and ecology walks led by naturalists. Tours will continue throughout the day.
A wide variety of exhibitors, artists, nature photographers, and interactive displays will be showcased, all featuring the different facets and crafts of the Pinelands. Many of the region's environmental organizations will be on hand. Information and pamphlets will be available for festival-goers to collect as a resource.
Parking: $7 per car.

The Cranberry Festival is a celebration of New Jersey's cranberry harvest, the 3rd largest in the United States, and offers a tribute to the Pine Barrens & Culture.
Presented by:
The Festival Committee of Chatsworth for the benefit of the restoration & preservation of the White Horse Inn.
The main attraction is the diverse showing of many artists & craftsmen, some of which will also be demonstrating their crafts as well as displaying them for sale.
Admission to the festival is FREE.
A donation of $5.00 will be accepted if you use our highly recommended parking area at the school located off of Second Street.

Congregate where the birds migrate: Cape May, New Jersey. A three-day birding and nature festival with workshops, programs, field trips, hawk banding demos, boat trips and more. Special evening programs and banquets. Celebrated speakers throughout. Come for a day or spend the weekend. Peak time for many migrating birds and always the chance of Cape May rarities! Registration is open to all and registration forms are mailed to members ahead of time, in summer.

Bald eagles are just some of the spectacular birds of prey to come out and observe as part of a day full of activities, walks, exhibits, speakers, book signings, vendors and tasty Down Jersey food.
Birding enthusiasts young and old will not be disappointed as experts and volunteers from New Jersey Audubon/Cape May Bird Observatory and Citizens United to Protect the Maurice River will be on hand with spotting scopes and a wealth of information to help identify wildlife and guide tours at various viewing sites.
Four walks will be held in the Natural Land Trust's Glades Wildlife Refuge:
Admission - $10.00 Adults / $5.00 Children 12 & under.

This year’s Celebrity Guest hostess is Carol Erickson CBS Philly News Weather Anchor. Come support the largest multi-species wildlife rehabilitator in New Jersey. You will sample the best wines of the world, delight in gourmet food prepared by world renowned wine chef Tony Lawrence, browse incredible auction items, meet our animal ambassadors and back by popular demand… beer tasting! Historic Batsto Village in Wharton State Forest.
The Batsto Citizens Committee, Inc. ( BCCI ) will present its annual “Shine In The Pines” car and decoy show on Sunday May 20, 2012 from 9 AM – 4PM at Historic Batsto Village in Wharton State Forest.
This event brings together a unique blend of interests at one of New Jersey’s most important historical sites.
The Hammonton (NJ) based Cruisin’ Classics Auto Club will display a variety of cars and trucks in the lower village throughout the day. Vehicles both old and new will be available to view on the site of the once thriving South Jersey bog iron and glass industries.
Joining the shiny motorcars for the day will be many local and regional decoy carvers. In addition to the opportunity to view world class hand carvings, wildlife photographers and artists will also be displaying their work.
“This is a truly unique event that combines a bit of the old and the new. It is a time for families to enjoy the history and beauty of Batsto Village while going back to yesteryear as well as seeing firsthand the skills of incredibly talented artists,’’ commented Acting BCCI chairperson Mike Kerbowski from the Visitors Center & Museum at Wharton State Forest.
This free to the public event will also feature vendors providing a variety food and beverages.
Tours of the Batsto Mansion will also be conducted throughout the day.
Batsto Village is located in the Pinelands of Burlington County, South Jersey approximately seven miles east of Hammonton on Route 542 and 15 miles west of Exit 50 of the Garden State Parkway.
