Description: Come join PPA for a fun family night as we show the films Pine Barrens Up Close and Natural and After the Storm outside and under the stars. Popcorn and refreshments provided.
The documentary Pine Barrens: Up Close & Natural, created by PPA and Natural Arts Films, has been featured on NJN Television and includes rarely seen images of one of our area's greatest treasures. Occupying 1.1 million acres, the Pine Barrens covers over one fifth of New Jersey. Under the Pine Barrens lies one of the largest unspoiled aquifers on the East Coast.
After the Storm, co-produced by the EPA and The Weather Channel, focuses on three case studies that illustrate the interconnections between water supply, water quality and the economic vitality and quality of life in our communities.
There will be a guided discussion and time for questions.
